Mnemora Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SENSUS AI - FZCO ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use the Mnemora app ("App").

1. Data We Collect

We may process the following categories of data to provide the App:

• User Content: content you create or import in the App, such as highlights, extracted text, vocabulary items, and study cards.
• Purchase Information: subscription and purchase status provided by Apple through StoreKit (we do not receive your full card details).
• Device Identifier: an app-generated device identifier used for service security and rate limiting.

2. How We Use Data

• To provide core App functionality (reading, capture, review, sync).
• To provide AI features such as enrichment, audio generation, and image generation.
• To verify and manage subscription entitlements.
• To protect service reliability, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits.

3. Data Storage and Processing

• Apple CloudKit: your App data may be stored and synced via your iCloud account (Apple acts as a service provider for this infrastructure).
• Mnemora Backend: some requests are sent to our backend to power AI features.
• AI Provider: content required to fulfill AI requests may be processed by our AI service provider.

4. Tracking and Advertising

We do not use your data for third-party advertising. We do not use cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.

5. Payments

In-app subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not store your full payment card data.

6. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the App and comply with legal obligations. Data stored in iCloud remains under your Apple account controls.

7. Your Choices

• You can manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
• You can stop using the App at any time.
• You can contact us for privacy requests.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL with a revised effective date.
